Finding us

Our Cliffside Park center sits on Palisade Avenue, minutes from the Route 46, Route 4 and Palisades Interstate Parkway corridors, with NJ Transit bus service nearby. For clients who do not drive, we arrange transportation within the local service area. Spanish-speaking staff are available for families who prefer it.

What we treat

We are a co-occurring program: we treat alcohol, opioid, cocaine, benzodiazepine and prescription drug use alongside anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder and other mental health conditions, with one team and one plan. We also treat clients whose mental health is the primary concern. Cliffside Park sits close to the density and the fentanyl supply of the North Hudson corridor, and our program is built for exactly that — including Medication-Assisted Treatment from the first week for anyone who needs it, and naloxone that goes home with every client.

Programs available here

  • Partial Care (PHP) — full treatment days, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., five days a week, with lunch provided. Typically two to five weeks before stepping down.
  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) — three-hour blocks in the morning or early afternoon, Monday through Friday, so you can keep working or caring for family.
  • Evening IOP — 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, for people who commute or work days.
  • Outpatient counseling — weekly individual and group sessions as a step-down or a starting point.
  • Medication-Assisted Treatment — buprenorphine (Suboxone), naltrexone and Vivitrol coordination, and naloxone, prescribed by our medical team alongside therapy, with medication management available after the program ends.

Every client starts with a comprehensive clinical assessment, usually the same day you call, reviewed by our clinical and medical directors to recommend a level of care. If it is a fit, you can start the next day. If medically supervised detox is needed first, we coordinate it with accredited partners and hold your place.

Insurance

We work with most major insurance plans, including Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare and Oxford, and out-of-state Blue Cross plans. Every plan is different, so our admissions team verifies your benefits before your first visit and explains what they mean in plain language — see our insurance guide or use the confidential verification form.
